PROPERTY AND LAND AUCTIONS
This is the department within Cooper and Tanner responsible for running auctions of property and land.
The department comprises two regional centres covering Somerset, Wiltshire and the Dorset borders.
Auction is simply an alternative method of selling property and it can be a particularly suitable method for certain kinds of property. It is of course, difficult to generalise, but the list below details the type of property we regularly sell by this method:
- Houses & Cottages requiring substantial renovation works.
- Blocks of Agricultural Land and Buildings.
- Paddocks (Suitable for equestrian or other leisure uses).
- Building Plots/Barns.
- Development Sites.
- Woodland.
Also, certain categories of sellers often want to sell by auction and these include executors and charities.
The department comprises two regional centres covering the areas around Somerset and Wiltshire.
