There are two large agricultural steel portal framed barns within the farm yard that have been used to rear cattle and store bedding and fodder. The larger barn is a 5 bay barn with a concrete floor and CFC roof with lean-to barn attached. The other barn is a 4 bay barn with concrete floor.

THE LAND There are two paddocks with the farm that are enclosed by mature hedges and slope up away from the farm yard. One paddock has a cider apple tree orchard. The paddocks are ideal for ponies, sheep or cattle. Mains water is connected to a trough in one paddock the other is fed by a stream.

LOCATION Set on the edge of a valley with undulating Somerset countryside all around, Shoscombe Parish is made up of six separate hamlets, Stoney Littleton, Single Hill, Shoscombe Vale, Shoscombe village, Double Hill and White Hill. The nearby villages of Shoscombe and Wellow both have lively communities with primary schools, pubs and churches together with various sports clubs and village halls. The village of Peasdown St John has excellent facilities including convenience stores, doctors, vets, garage and public house.
The Historic City of Bath offers fantastic shopping facilities and many tourist attractions for the whole family. There are excellent state and private schools in the area, with excellent private schools in Wells, Downside, Bruton and Bath (King Edwards and The Royal High School). Monkton Combe and Prior Park. State schools in Bath and nearby Writhlington have an excellent reputation and both Wellow and Shoscombe have good primary schools.
The Mendip Hills provide a variety of leisure pursuits including horse riding, hunting, walking, cycling, diving, dry ski slopes all in the vicinity. Bath and Bristol are within easy commuting distance with Bristol Airport also within easy reach as is the M4 and M5.

Equestrian facilities in the area are good with Wellow Trekking Centre, Hill House Farm, West Wilts Equestrian Centre and Bath riding club all having regular fixtures. The out riding is excellent with a mixture of quiet lanes and bridleways. Hunting is with the Mendip and South and West Wilts Hunts, and the junior equestrians are well catered for with the Wylye Valley and other Pony Clubs in the area.
