DESCRIPTION The Old Chapel dates back to 1867 and was converted, we believe, in 1976. The house since then has been the subject of vast improvements and now offers well proportioned and beautifully presented living accommodation that enjoys modern luxuries, whilst retaining lots of character and charm.
ACCOMMODATION In brief the accommodation includes a wonderful large church style porch with beautiful stone work, plenty of room for coats and shoes and double doors that open into the main living space. Initially you are greeted with a large dining/entertaining area which includes exposed wooden floorboards, an arch through to the kitchen/dining room, a door into the living room and stairs to the first floor. The lounge is an excellent size and features dual aspect windows allowing lots of natural light in. There is fitted storage and a wood burning stove that takes centre stage. The kitchen/dining room is stunning and is complete with a range of units, granite worktops, intregrated appliances, a 'Rayburn', room for a table and chairs and a door onto the rear gardens, perfect for entertaining on a summers evening. From the kitchen a door leads to the utility room and downstairs w.c.
On the first floor is a light and airy landing, four bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master bedroom is a magnificent space and enjoys triple aspect arched windows, a dressing area and an en-suite shower room.
OUTSIDE To the front of the chapel a driveway provides off road parking for around 6 vehicles. To the side is a detached double garage with power, light, an electric door to the front and a separate door to the side leading into the gardens. The gardens have been beautifully landscaped. Adjoining the door from the kitchen/dining room is a large patio/seating area and bbq spot. A shallow set of steps lead up to a large lawn that is decorated by a number of mature trees and bordered by plants and shrubs. There is a raised area that is home to the vegetable patches and a timber framed summer house with power and light that overlooks the gardens with a potting shed adjoining.
