There are main line railway stations at Westbury (4 miles), Frome and Bath, both connecting direct to London Paddington (80 minutes).For the equestrian or smallholder, Mole Valley Farmers, a farmer's co-operative store selling farm products, garden and pet supplies, domestic goods and power tools, is situated in the nearby village of Standerwick (about 3 miles towards Frome).
EDUCATION There are a number of good schools in the area including primary schools in the nearby villages of Dilton Marsh, Berkley and Chapmanslade. Local independent senior schools include Warminster School, Monkton Combe (just south of Bath) and Prior Park College and King Edwards, both in the southern part of Bath.
