DESCRIPTION A three bedroom detached bungalow set in over an acre of grounds with breathtaking views and offered with no onward chain. The property has been within the same family for well over 50 years and now offers the scope to improve, extend or replace subject to the nessesary planning consents.
The accommodation comprises an entrance hall leading to a dual aspect sitting room with glorious views and open fire. The kitchen/dining room has a view over the rear gardens and comprises a range of units, electric cooker and hob, ample space for a table along with doors opening out to the side and rear of the bungalow. Two generous double bedrooms benefit from the southerly view to the front giving a panoramic aspect for up to 40 miles. A further double bedroom has a dual aspect view to the rear garden. The shower room comprises a walk in shower, toilet, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
OUTSIDE Approaching the property is a Tarmac driveway from the lane to the front door allowing parking for four to five cars along with a single garage to the side. A bank at the front with hedging provides privacy to a front lawn and side patio for outside furniture and to enjoy the views. A grass bank to the side could be used as additional space to either build an extension or further garage if required and consents granted. The rear garden slopes up, mainly laid to lawn with a variety of shrubs, trees and flowers. A level hard standing in the garden currently provides an area currently occupied by a swimming pool which does need refurbishment. A further area of rough ground has a stone built barn with two loose boxes which makes for a perfect space to have sheep or chickens if desired. From the far end of the garden is where the best views can be had. A 180 degree panorama can be seen looking past Glastonbury Tor and the spire of South Horrington Church to open fields and countryside in the distance.
