Little Copse Farm, formerly known as The Claire Lilley Training Centre, is a superb equestrian yard with an excellent range of facilities to suit most rider's requirements. Having previously been run as a riding school (an ABRS approved establishment) the yard would very much suit a business use or indeed a private yard.
Access is gained from Forest Road into a parking and turning area with space for several vehicles. The classroom sits to the right of the parking area and is approximately 5.32m x 5.48m with a further store room to the side. The haybarn measures approximately 9.40m x 8.34m and has ample space for storing over 500 bales.
The stable block is an American Barn style block that arranged into five light airy boxes, each with a window to the rear, automatic drinkers and two with anti-weaving grills. At one end of the barn is a secure feed and tack room, with stairs leading to storage over. There is also a large area which is ideal for the farrier or clipping or even space for an additional stable.
There are three further timber stables set just to the far end of the main stable block.
The school is a 60m x 20m arena with a Sports Fibre Pro surface that is enclosed by post and rail fencing and benefits from training mirrors, one on the short side and two along the long side.
As with the stable yard, the land has been well maintained and the layout considered. The first area is divided into conveniently sized paddocks, each with post and rail fencing and slip rails to give some versatility to the grazing. Access to these paddocks is from an all weather track, that utilised the old school surface. The track then leads to a single parcel of just over six acres of good level pasture land that is mainly used for hay productions (480 bales made in 2018).
LOCATION Little Copse Farm is ideally situated with some excellent competition venues being located close by, including West Wilts Equestrian Centre at Holt being less than 5 miles away that offers a mixture of affiliated and unaffiliated competitions as well as numerous training opportunities. Hunting is available with the Avon Vale Hunt and the yard falls into the Avon Vale Pony Club area, although there are others located close by. There are some bridleways close to the yard, as shown by the broken green lines on the location plan.
