DESCRIPTION Beeches Barn is a deceptively spacious family home that is positioned in a lovely rural spot on the edge of Frome. There is a detached double garage, parking for a number of vehicles, enclosed gardens and a paddock and stables. Feltham village itself was incredibly first recorded in 1066 with the origins of the name meaning - 'the hay farm' and 'a home in the felled part of the woods' both of which suit the barn perfectly.
ACCOMMODATION The accommodation briefly includes a very spacious entrance hall with a lovely slate floor and doors into the living room, the dining room and the kitchen. There is also access into the downstairs w.c and under stair storage. The kitchen has been beautifully finished in the last two years and is complete with a range of wall and base units topped with granite with an integrated cooker/hob, dishwasher, fridge and a wonderful farmhouse style dresser. There is a quarry tile floor and a door into the utility room which provides further storage, a sink, plumbing for utilities and a stable door to the gardens. The living room is at the front of the barn with plenty of natural light, a door to the gardens at the front and a lovely outlook. A shallow set of two steps divides the two parts of the room, an interesting and flexible layout that would work well for people wanting to entertain. There is a large and interestingly shaped dining room which features a lovely curved wall and a door through to the home office.
On the first floor there are three double bedrooms. The master bedroom is an impressive size with exposed beams, double fitted wardrobes, an en-suite bathroom and a lovely outlook across the paddock and stables and surrounding countryside. There is also a recently upgraded shower room for the remaining two bedrooms.
OUTSIDE Beeches Barn is accessed from a country lane through a walled entrance and into a private driveway that is shared with just one other property. There is a detached double garage with power, light, electric and twin roller doors to the front. There is ample parking for several vehicles and enclosed gardens with a lawn and a patio/seating area.
Directly opposite the barn on the other side of the country lane is a paddock with stables. Water is connected and there are sockets and lights in the stables.
