The Dairy Show is a staple event in the calendar of many farmers, agricultural service providers and advisers, and one that Cooper and Tanner is incredibly proud to be associated with.
We were delighted to sponsor the reception drinks at the Dairy Industry Dinner preceding the show, which saw close to 350 guests enjoying a wonderful meal culminating in the Dairy Industry Award being presented to John Clothier, of Wyke Farms.
We had a busy stand on show day with a steady flow of conversations held over cups of tea and cake. Being so close to the main showing ring we were able to see first-hand the results of the huge amount of work that goes into producing a cow fit for the show ring. Director, George Trippick was on hand to present the prize to the winner of the Ayrshire in calf class. Director Tim Hector also took part in the “Udderly Agricultural Careers” seminar series to help showcase career opportunities alongside the industry.
