Support for Dogs for Health charity hero

As part of our ongoing commitment to community and charity support, we were delighted to donate £500 to Dogs for Health, a brilliant Frome-based charity that uses trained dogs to provide emotional and therapeutic support to people of all ages.

This week, we welcomed Amy, one of the charity’s founders, to our Standerwick office for a special cheque presentation. She was joined by her colleagues and three very special four-legged visitors – Elsie, a gentle and wise veteran support dog, and Bud and Wellington, two puppies currently in training to become support dogs themselves.

The sun was shining and the dog cuddles were flowing during the cheque presentation. The charity, which relies heavily on sponsorships and donations, recently put out a call for help via social media to cover essential costs like dog food. It was this post that caught the attention of our Director Hannah Pole, who led the donation on behalf of Cooper and Tanner.

“I came across their post and was immediately moved by the incredible work they do,” said Hannah. “These dogs bring so much comfort and companionship to those in need. We’re proud to support such a vital local cause and help keep tails wagging!”
